Mortgage Lender AmeriHome Files US IPO Application
October 1 (Reuters) – Mortgage lender AmeriHome Inc filed an initial public offering in the United States on Thursday, joining a growing list of companies looking to take advantage of a rebound in capital markets after a coronavirus crisis in March.
The company set a fictitious amount of $ 100 million and did not disclose the size of its offering.
Filing Comes One Month After Rocket Companies Inc’s Strong Market Debut RKT.N, the parent company of mortgage lender Quicken Loans.
Unlike many IPO contenders, the company, founded in 2013, is profitable. It has generated positive net income every month since reaching profitability in February 2015, according to the filing.
AmeriHome’s revenue for the six-month period ended June 30 more than doubled to $ 442.03 million from the previous year, while net profit for the same period doubled to $ 274, $ 9 million.
Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Wells Fargo, Barclays, BofA Securities and RBC Capital Markets are the co-book managers of the company’s offering.
