FCC Offers New Online Training For Emergency Managers And Community Leaders | WDVM25 and DCW50
FREDERICK, Md. (WDVM) – Frederick Community College offers an innovative new program for residents.
The FCC Mid-Atlantic Center for Emergency Management & Public Safety (MACEM & PS) has launched a new online training program for emergency managers and other community leaders, which aims to create logistics supply chain components in the event of a ’emergency.
“We are grateful to receive this FEMA grant which will provide new opportunities for the FCC Emergency Management & Public Safety Center (MACEM & PS) to do what it does best: provide critical preparedness training emergency situations that can save lives, ”said Dr. Thomas Powell, Interim President of FCC. “We are proud that FCC can serve emergency managers and community leaders across the country with this innovative training.
The program will teach participants how to use logistics supply chain techniques for emergency preparedness at the community level and prepare for the rapid recovery and continuation of essential services and important resources.
