Entrepreneur and business coach Marcus Jones shares his plan to create a legacy
“Life is too short.” We’ve all heard it, but what do we do about it? For Marcus Jones, he’s making the most of the time he has to build his legacy brick by brick. The foundation of his financial future lies in his thriving business which has enabled him to help thousands of people duplicate his business model and acquire the skills necessary to become successful entrepreneurs in their own right.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Marcus entered the workforce right out of high school to support himself and his family, with his first factory job a 45-minute ride from his home. . At the age of 21, Marcus was introduced to a different mindset and lifestyle, which would show him a new way to earn an income without having to work long hours under someone’s supervision. other: entrepreneurship.
Intrigued by the business model of network marketing and the concept of trading in financial markets, Marcus immersed himself in the opportunity, quickly learning the ins and outs of growing a business, to form his own organization called MTG. which stands for Money Team Global, it has allowed him to work with like-minded people across the country looking for unconventional avenues of financial growth.
When discussing his business goals, Marcus says:
“MTG is all about helping people understand that you can be your own boss. I’m showing people that if you put in those hours, basically treating this as a job where you set your own schedule, you figure out how far you’re going to go based on how hard you’re willing to work – you can really get results faster than most. Basically I just wanted to show people, hey, if you work hard and think about it, you can get paid like a CEO.
Marcus says his business is all about duplication and growth. Marcus guides aspiring entrepreneurs to achieve the levels of success he has created for themselves, simply by taking what he offers, studying it and applying it to their own lives. As a true leader, Marcus would like nothing more than to see his entire team flourish, even if it means surpassing themselves. Growth comes from a mindset that encompasses more than just a passion for financial freedom, but also for constant personal development.
“We help develop people’s level of financial literacy to increase their earning potential. Money is great, don’t get me wrong, but it can also help you grow as a person. It can be so much more rewarding to build something from scratch. I want people to be able to experience what I have experienced through duplication. You’ve got a schedule now, you don’t just wake up not knowing what you’re going to do today. You have a goal and then you go there and you try to crush it. “
Initially, Marcus was invested in growing his team out of a desire to get the financial security he needed to quit his 9 to 5 job and really experience what life has to offer when you have the freedom to. do whatever you want. However, soon after starting his business he became much more than that. The loss of his brother to gun violence made Marcus realize how short life is, and kindled a fire in him and a willingness to leave his legacy on Earth in the time he has available, helping so many people as possible to do what he was able to do. himself.
“When my brother died, it really touched me, it was the first time I lost a loved one. He was 26, I’m 26 now, he died a month before his 27th birthday. When it happened, I was in shock. I could not believe it. By the time I recovered, I knew I had to make this time count. It made me want to start not only making money, but also helping others earn money. I felt like I was selfish, back then I didn’t really want to deal with anyone, I just wanted to make sure I was good and my people were good, but there is a bigger picture than that. It is much more rewarding to show someone how to achieve what you have accomplished. It really made me change my life and say, hey, it’s not all about the money. It’s really about showing your people that this is what they can have. It’s possible. You can do it – if I was there before and now I am here, you can be there and you can be here too ”, Marcus said.
In honor of his late brother, Marcus and his sister Rhonda Fox have created an organization called Dollar & A Dream, where they organize events, sell clothes and cook for the community.
With his clear goal and vision for his future, Marcus continues to help others duplicate his business model to find their own success in entrepreneurship. Marcus is leading by example by stepping into the unknown to do what we can to create a lasting impression on this Earth. Her best advice for budding entrepreneurs? Keep reading!
Never give up. “It doesn’t matter what anyone else says, it doesn’t matter what happens – if you’re going through a lot while trying to reach that goal, it’s probably because you’re about to reach it. . The world will test you. It’ll put you through the fire, but no matter how hard it gets, just keep going. “
Talk about it in existence. “The law of attraction is real. You say it, you do it, you think it, you write it down. You see it everyday and it will happen, you will be where you want to be.
Life is short. “You can’t be here doing just anything, wasting time. It’s good to have a safety net, but you have to remember that the safety net is not always secure. You have to take the time you have and you have to do something. You have to build something. You got to make a legacy, because if you don’t, you can look up and not be here tomorrow.
